Why to use die-cast zinc?

The majority of our clamp and bosshead assortment, as well as various parts of other assemblies we cast with our own zinc diecasting machine. 

Using zinc die-cast articles for laboratory supplies has proved effective.

The advantages:

• Better energy efficiency during casting process thanks to a lower melting point, when compared to aluminum or malleable cast iron
• High recycling proportion of at least 75% of raw material used
• High stability also of thin-walled parts e.g. bossheads
• Excellent cost-performance ratio of our basic assortment
• Good corrosion resistance – protection through natural passivation (reaction of zinc with oxygen at the surface)
• Corrosion resistance can be further enhanced by powder coating or nickel plating
